"The Affordable Care Act: What's In It For Me?"
Todd Shelton and Libby Johnson of the Tennessee Health Care Campaign, a 22 year old statewide nonprofit consumer health care advocacy group working for guaranteed affordable choices in health care, will present an overview of the national healthcare act (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act), signed on March 23, 2010, which is to be implemented in each state.
The originally scheduled open roundtable will be postponed to later in the year
On Tuesday, June 7th, Freethought Forum will be broadcast by Community TV from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. [Comcast Cable Channel 12, Charter Channel 6, and live-streaming via http://www.ctvknox.org/]. Between taking calls from the viewing public, the topic will be: "Intelligent Design, Dover School Board, & the Scientific Method". Co-hosts Larry Rhodes and Dale Haste will lead the discussion on the Anniversary of the Dover School board selection of books for the upcoming year.
