Former RET Member, Bill Miller, Dies
Bill Miller, former RET Member, has died in Arizona.

Sometimes we experience sudden shocks in life, and this morning Sharron and I were stunned and saddened to learn of the death of Bill Miller, former RET member. Bill and Diane were RET members before moving to Arizona in 2003. In recent years, he has regularly posted on RETDiscuss, and his most recent post was on January 25, 2011.

A former neighbor of Bill's and Diane's here in west Knoxville called us this morning after having received a letter from Diane. She had spoken at length with Diane on the phone.

On Monday, February 7th, Bill fell and struck his head on the tile floor at his home in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolis. There was massive bleeding in the brain and surgeons could not save him. He died on Wednesday, February 9th.

Bill and Diane had been planning a cruise, and Bill was on the phone with a Delta Airlines representative at the time. When Diane came into the room, she found Bill on the floor in a pool of blood. The Delta representative was still on the phone and told Diane she had heard a loud sound. Diane immediately called 911 and Bill was rushed to a hospital. No neurosurgeon was at that hospital, so the Emergency Room rushed Bill to another hospital 10 miles away.

Below, I have included an obituary, a link to Bill's guest book, and Diane's address.
