RET Roundtable March 1st
March 1st, 2009, Roundtable Discussion led by Dr. Neil Greenberg
Dr. Greenberg is a professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
Dr. Greenberg's topic will be “The War between Truth and Reality”

In this presentation Dr. Greenberg explores the idea of “truth” as something humans can posses. It involves the outcome of two vital biological processes, which impart more-or-less confidence in our belief about reality. In the course of the talk he outlines the neurobiological events that lead to these attributions, the forces that effect their integrated functions, and what happens when they become dysfunctional.

Discussion starts at 10:30 at Pellissippi State Technical Community College, Goins Administration Building, Cafeteria Annex. Come early for snacks and fellowship.
