The Ethical Brain: The Science of Our Moral Dilemmas, by Michael Gazzaniga
Gazzaniga is the David T. McLaughlin Distinguished Professor at Dartmouth College and Director of the Program in Cognitive Neuroscience. His book provides a provocative and fascinating look at new discoveries about the brain that challenge our ethics.
Neuroscientist Gazzaniga, widely considered to be the father of cognitive neuroscience, examines "lifespan neuroethics." He also addresses the medical ethics challenges confronting modern society at the dawn of the 21st century.

This year’s Summer Solstice party will be at the Ledendecker’s home (2123 Stonybrook
Road, Louisville, TN 37777) on Saturday, June 16 from 5:00 PM until whenever.
Bring a covered dish. It is a BYOB event. Some basic refreshments will be provided.
There will be swimming, badminton, bocce, and any other game one wishes to bring - as well good conversation.

"An Inconvenient Truth (continued)," by Dr. Rick Weinstein
Dr. Richard Weinstein (a member of Al Gore's "Climate Project") will present the evidence for global warming and will discuss what we should do about it. "The Climate Project," is an initiative to train 1,000 Americans to deliver Gore's Oscar-winning, "An Inconvenient Truth" slide show to schools, clubs, nursing homes and community groups around the nation.
