Farewell Party for Marty and Laura
Tom O'Connor is hosting a party at his home, Sunday, June 18, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., as we send off Marty Carcieri and Laura Marty with our best wishes.

Event: Farewell BBQ/Picnic for Marty & Laura Carcieri
Date: Sunday - June 18, 2006
Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Location: Old North Knoxville Historic District (www.oldnorthknoxville.org). Home of Tom O'Connor. 1432 Cornelia Street, Southeast Corner of East Woodland Avenue (between Central & Broadway).
Directions:
From I-275 (between I-40 & I-75/640)
East Woodland Avenue, Exit (1C)
east on E. Woodland Avenue, toward St. Mary's Hospital, 3 blocks past Central Avenue
Look for corner lot with white picket fence
Parking: Cornelia Street on north side of E. Woodland Avenue. Cerebral Palsy Center & street.
Venue: Weather permitting, we'll have a "Day on the Green" (S.F. Bay Area reference that Marty & Laura should remember), outdoors on the shaded grass covered lot next to Tom's house.
Food: Garlic bread, beans, and BBQ chicken provided. Prepared San Juan Bautista, California style - "We soak the chicken over night in beer and garlic until it cries!" Tofu burgers also available.
BBQ grill available (and/or bring your own).
Contributions of appetizers, snacks, salads, & desserts requested/appreciated.
Drink: BYOB - Bring your own beverage. Ice chest/cooler provided.
Accessories: BYOB - Bring your own bench, chairs, picnic table. Provide your own eating utensils, glasses, and plates.
Activities: Petanque tournament, Father's Day celebration/appreciation, more ???
