Emil Investigates Halloween|
The Rationalists of East Tennessee are pleased to invite paranormal investigator Emil Klott to Knoxville to speak on Oct. 30 at 10:30 a.m. in the Candy Factory on some of his findings pertaining to Halloween. The talk is entitled "Emil Investigates Halloween." Klott spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of skeptics in Knoxville two years ago, describing his uncanny abilities to dowse for water by the waterfront and showcasing his frightening experiences as a ghost-hunter at a haunted house. Klott uses the best techniques in the paranormal sciences to reach his conclusions.
"The conclusions this guy comes to are simply unbelievable," said RET president Daryl L. L. Houston. "His methodology is unlike any other I've ever witnessed in the scientific community, and the depth of his probing can scarcely be described."
Klott's multi-media presentation has enlightened many, and RET hopes to draw a large crowd for this redux. Self-described pioneer Klott describes his life's work as follows:
"From this beginning, Emil Klott grew into a man and took on his life's work: The investigation and documentation of paranormal phenomena. Now he stands alone in the field as the researcher who has found and verified more incidents of a supernatural nature than anybody you ever heard of. He travels much of the year conducting experiments and investigations; he reports on these researches in popular multimedia lecture presentations.
"And yet, he still can't get on the Tonight Show."
Note that this is not one of our regularly-scheduled events, as it takes place on the fifth Sunday of the month rather than one of our customary first-three-Sunday events.
