Lalia Wilson will discuss "Can Wilber's All Quadrants and All Levels Integrate Science and Religion "

Ken Wilber's book "A Theory of Everything: An Integral Vision for Business, Politics, Science and Spirituality" begins with "We live in an extraordinary time: all of the world's cultures, past and present, are to some degree, available to us, either in historical records or as living entities. In the history of the planet Earth this has never happened before.... So it is that the leading edge of consciousness evolution stands today on the brink of an integral millennium - or at least the possibility of an integral millennium - where the sum total of all extant knowledge, wisdom, and technology and is available to all. And sooner or later we will have, of course, a Theory of Everything to explain it all...... Wilson will give you the Wilber for Dummies version of why Science and Religion are at odds in today's world.

A writeup about Ken Wilber is available on www.wikipedia.org . (Don't look for Wilber, Ken)

Lalia Robinson Wilson received a B.S. in Chemistry, graduating from the college honors program at California State University, Sacramento. She received an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ms. Wilson has taught college courses in both Chemistry and Business at six different colleges and universities. Wilson is both a practicing Unitarian Universalist, a member of the Oak Ridge church, and a practicing Taoist, an instructor in the Taoist Tai Chi Society. She leads groups focusing on the philosophy of Ken Wilber in Oak Ridge and Knoxville. Wilson is the wife of one Materials Scientist and the mother of another.
