RET LOGO CONTEST|
Calling all creative artists! RET will be creating some new t-shirts as well as some other merchandise to sell on our Website. First, we need graphics!
Here are the rules:
Create a graphic or logo you think would look good on official RET merchandise. For t-shirts, we'd like small graphics for the front and larger graphics for the back. If you'd like to design a graphic for coffee mugs, stickers, bumper stickers, Frisbees, baseball caps, license plate frames, tote bags, etc… that's great too.
To see all possible merchandise, go to http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/products/viewall.aspx
All art should be original- no copying and pasting, no tracing, no questionable borrowing of ideas. Obviously, designs should reflect in some way our aspirations or general beliefs. This can of course be done abstractly. Designs should incorporate the organization name and might benefit from the incorporation of one of the two following phrases generally used on our merchandise and literature:
"Thinking people doing thoughtful things"
"Thoughtful people doing thoughtful things"
Entries should be submitted at 72 dpi in RGB format in PNG, JPG, or GIF format and in dimensions that can be easily displayed on the Web – no wider than 500 or 600 pixels is preferred. Final designs will need to be at not less than 200 dpi with printable dimensions of 8x10 or 10x8 inches. We recommend that people do the final designs and size them down to submit. This first round of designs should appear on white backgrounds.
Designs should be submitted as attachments sent to email@example.com and should be marked by a subject line indicating that they are logo/tee-shirt design submittals. The designs selected for use will become property of RET. Designs should not be submitted if ownership of the work is an issue.
Submissions will be posted in the RET forum and members will be alerted to vote for favorites. Final decisions will be made by the board.
Now, let's see some great designs!
