Knoxville civil liberties strategy meeting
I know there are plenty of RETers interested in defending civil liberties. see below for an invitation to Civil liberties strategy meeting in good ol Knoxville.

Dear Activists and Allies:

The Civil Liberties Alliance Strategy Session will be held on this coming Tuesday, June 3rd from 5:30-7:00P at Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church (3023 Selma Avenue). Call NCCJ at 637.6140 if you need directions.

Feel free to BYOB (Bring Your Own Brown bag meal)!

The Civil Liberties Alliance has grown out of a series of workshops
addressing such questions as:

Where do civil liberties come from?
Which amendments to the US Constitution are under attack by the Patriot Act? Find out more at: http://www.korrnet.org/patriot/.
And what are the effects of the Act on undocumented and documented immigrants?

The vision of the Alliance is "To make the Greater Knoxville community a 'civil liberties safe zone'."

At this Strategy Session we will review the revised resolution to Knox County Commission, distribute yard signs and create a strategy for maintaining our civil liberties.

We hope to see you on Tuesday!
